On March 17, 2026, Vice Dean Zhang Haitao and a delegation from the College of Humanities and Law of Tianjin University of Science & Technology visited the TEDA Community College to attend the unveiling ceremony of a practical teaching base for International Chinese Language Education and the opening ceremony of the 2026 spring semester of the TEDA International Chinese Class, and conducted cooperation talks on practical teaching, international student cultivation and cultural exchange.

Professor Zhang Haitao and President Chen Liang subsequently delivered remarks, expounding on the significance of the establishment of the base from the perspectives of university program development and community cultural services respectively, and expressing their hopes and outlook for the future of the teaching base.

Following the unveiling ceremony, the opening ceremony of the 2026 spring semester of the TEDA International Chinese Class officially commenced. Teacher Zhang of the International Chinese Class and learner representative Zamu spoke in turn, and the class advisor also set out clear requirements for study and activities in the new term, filling international learners with anticipation for their upcoming Chinese language study.

With language as a bridge and culture as a medium, both sides will continue to deepen cooperation in the future, advancing together on the path of international Chinese language education so that more foreign friends can fall in love with the Chinese language and experience Chinese culture.
