China Merchants Bank Visits CHL

To deepen university-bank cooperation and strengthen collaborative education, China Merchants Bank Tianjin Branch visited the College of Humanities and Law of Tianjin University of Science & Technology on September 24, 2026.  Drawing on their respective strengths, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussion on jointly establishing a financial practice base, jointly conducting anti-telecom-fraud education and financial science popularization.

At the forum, Wang Pei introduced the service system, team division and business characteristics of China Merchants Bank Tianjin Branch. He noted that the bank has consistently leveraged its professional advantages in financial services, fulfilled its social responsibility as a financial institution, and carried out sustained financial knowledge popularization and risk prevention publicity. Universities are important venues for financial knowledge and education, and he hoped that both sides would use this forum as an opportunity to identify the points where the bank's business advantages connect with the College's talent training and student education.

Dean Wu Zhenjun introduced the College's development history, departmental structure, talent cultivation model and distinctive strengths. He stressed that the College has always upheld the fundamental task of fostering virtue, attached importance to students' comprehensive qualities and practical abilities, and actively expanded off-campus collaborative education resources. He noted that China Merchants Bank has professional strengths in financial services, risk control and public communication, and that both sides have a sound foundation and broad prospects for cooperation in anti-fraud publicity, financial science popularization and practical education.

In the discussion, the two sides exchanged views on establishing a joint financial practice base, jointly conducting anti-fraud education, and promoting financial knowledge. Both agreed to fully integrate the university's educational platform with the financial institution's professional resources, and to explore lectures, case seminars and finance-themed campus events tailored to students' actual needs, integrating anti-fraud education into daily campus life and helping students form rational consumption habits and sound financial awareness.
